Recalculate your concentration using the actual volume added and adjust all subsequent dose volumes accordingly. The peptide mass in the vial hasn't changed, only the dilution. If you intended to add 2mL to a 5mg vial but actually added 2.5mL, your concentration is now 5,000 mcg ÷ 2.5 mL = 2,000 mcg/mL instead of 2,500 mcg/mL. A 250mcg dose now requires 0.125mL (12.5 units) instead of 0.1mL (10 units). Do not attempt to remove excess water from the vial. This introduces contamination risk and doesn't recover the concentration. Simply recalculate and document the new concentration in your research log.

Peptides are fragile molecules. Temperature excursions above 8°C accelerate degradation of the amino acid chain, particularly for GHRH analogues like CJC-1295. If reconstituted CJC-1295 was left unrefrigerated for 8–12 hours, it's likely partially denatured but not completely inactive. The challenge is you can't visually assess potency loss. The solution will appear clear and unchanged even if 30–50% of the active peptide has degraded. Our recommendation: do not use peptide that's been unrefrigerated overnight for research where precise dosing matters. The cost of replacing a 5mg vial is lower than the cost of running a protocol on compromised compound. For lyophilised powder (unreconstituted), brief room temperature exposure (24–48 hours) is less critical. Return it to −20°C storage immediately.

It's not uncommon, especially when first starting, to notice a small, localized reaction at the injection site. This often presents as a red, slightly raised, or itchy welt, sometimes called a "histamine reaction." Ipamorelin, in particular, can sometimes cause this localized release of histamine. For the vast majority of cases, this is a minor and temporary reaction that subsides within an hour or two. It's generally not a sign of an allergy. However, if you experience widespread hives, difficulty breathing, or swelling of the face and throat, that would be indicative of a serious allergic reaction requiring immediate medical attention. A small, localized red spot is typically just part of the process. If it's bothersome, you can try injecting in a different area (like the glutes instead of the stomach) to see if the reaction is less pronounced. Many researchers find these minor reactions lessen or disappear entirely as their protocol continues.

Administer the missed dose as soon as you remember if fewer than 4 hours have passed since the scheduled time. If more than 4 hours have elapsed, skip that dose entirely and resume the regular schedule at the next planned injection. Do not double-dose to 'make up' for the missed administration. Doubling the dose produces supraphysiological GH levels that trigger negative feedback through elevated somatostatin, which then suppresses endogenous GH secretion for 6–8 hours.
