GHRP-2 Dosage Calculator: Reconstitution and Units

GHRP-2 Dosage Calculator: Reconstitution and Units To calculate a GHRP-2 dose, divide the vial mg by BAC water mL to get concentration (mg/mL), divide your target dose in mg by concentration to get draw volume (mL), then multiply by 100 for U-100 units. GHRP-2

GHRP-2 Dosage Calculator: Reconstitution and Units

To calculate a GHRP-2 dose, divide the vial mg by BAC water mL to get concentration (mg/mL), divide your target dose in mg by concentration to get draw volume (mL), then multiply by 100 for U-100 units. GHRP-2 doses are typically discussed in the 100–300 mcg range.

How to Calculate GHRP-2 Dosage

Three steps convert any vial and BAC water combination into the exact volume to draw on a U-100 insulin syringe.

Step 1 — Calculate concentration (mg/mL)

Step 2 — Calculate draw volume (mL)

Step 3 — Convert to U-100 syringe units

Dosage Formula

Concentration formula

Draw volume formula

U-100 syringe units

These three formulas apply to any GHRP-2 vial, regardless of size. U-100 is the standard insulin-syringe scale: 100 units = 1 mL.

Example GHRP-2 Calculations

Step-by-step worked examples using common vial sizes. Results are for illustrating the math only.

5 mg vial + 2 mL BAC + 100 mcg (0.1 mg) dose

Vial: 5 mg | BAC water: 2 mL | Target dose: 0.1 mg

Concentration: 5 ÷ 2 = 2.5 mg/mL

Draw volume: 0.1 ÷ 2.5 = 0.04 mL

U-100 units: 0.04 × 100 = 4 units

10 mg vial + 5 mL BAC + 300 mcg (0.3 mg) dose

Vial: 10 mg | BAC water: 5 mL | Target dose: 0.3 mg

Concentration: 10 ÷ 5 = 2 mg/mL

Draw volume: 0.3 ÷ 2 = 0.15 mL

U-100 units: 0.15 × 100 = 15 units

GHRP-2 Reconstitution Guide

GHRP-2 is a lyophilized hexapeptide typically supplied in 5 mg or 10 mg vials.

Add BAC water slowly down the side of the vial. Swirl gently — do not shake.

Common setup: 5 mg vial + 2 mL BAC = 2.5 mg/mL. Each 0.1 mg (100 mcg) dose = 0.04 mL = 4 units.

Refrigerate at 2–8 °C once reconstituted. Use within 4 weeks.

Frequently Asked Questions

GHRP-2 (Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide-2) is a synthetic hexapeptide that stimulates growth hormone release with higher selectivity than GHRP-6. It is a research compound.

Both stimulate GH release but act on different receptor subtypes. Ipamorelin is considered more selective with fewer side effects in research models, while GHRP-2 may produce a stronger GH pulse.

U-100 is the standard scale for insulin syringes. 100 units = 1.0 mL. That means 10 units = 0.1 mL, 50 units = 0.5 mL. Multiply any draw volume in mL by 100 to get the U-100 units reading.

Yes. Changing BAC water volume changes the concentration (mg/mL), which changes the draw volume for the same mg dose. Always recalculate using: concentration = vial mg ÷ BAC water mL, then draw volume = dose mg ÷ concentration.

Divide mcg by 1000 to get mg. For example: 250 mcg = 0.25 mg, 500 mcg = 0.5 mg, 1000 mcg = 1 mg. Enter the mg value in the calculator.
