You're not creating more peptide by adding more water, you're just spreading the same 5,000mcg across a larger volume. What changes is injection volume and measurement ease. A 0.05mL injection (5 units) on a 1mL syringe sits between the 0-unit and 10-unit marks with no labeled increment. You're estimating. A 0.1mL injection (10 units) lands exactly on the 10-unit line.
