The no-DAC form (Mod GRF 1-29) is short-acting, with a reported half-life in the range of about 30 minutes — long enough to drive a single, physiologic-looking GH pulse and then clear. The DAC form binds albumin and produces a prolonged, low-level elevation of GH and IGF-1 that the community often calls a “GH bleed,” lasting days rather than minutes.
