This comparison does not assign a generated winner or score.

  • Reconstitution volume error
  • Incorrect bacteriostatic water ratio creates under- or over-concentrated solution, altering delivered dose
  • Measure volume added. If unsure, calculate expected concentration and back-calculate actual dose delivered
  • Discard and reconstitute new vial with precise 2mL bacteriostatic water per 2mg peptide (yields 1mg/mL)
  • This is the most common error and the easiest to prevent. Use a precision syringe, not approximation
  • Temperature excursion
  • Protein denaturation above 8°C irreversibly destroys tertiary structure required for receptor binding
  • Check refrigerator thermometer. If vial was ever left at room temp >2 hours, assume compromised
  • Discard affected vial; store all future reconstituted peptides at 2–8°C continuously
  • Invisible failure. Denatured peptides look identical to functional ones but have zero activity
  • Injection timing misalignment
  • Injecting during low endogenous GH periods wastes the exogenous pulse; insulin elevation from recent meals suppresses GH release
  • Review injection log. If doses administered <3 hours post-meal or mid-afternoon, timing is suboptimal
  • Inject either 30 min pre-bed or first thing upon waking, minimum 3 hours fasted
  • Timing determines whether the peptide amplifies or competes with natural GH. This isn't optional
  • Contamination from poor sterile technique
  • Bacterial enzymes degrade amino acid chains; peptide loses potency incrementally with each contaminated draw
  • Cloudiness, particulate matter, or unusual odor in vial; reduced effect over time despite proper storage
  • Discard vial immediately; use fresh alcohol swabs on stopper before every draw, never reuse needles
  • Once contaminated, the vial is unsalvageable. Prevention is the only option
  • Receptor desensitization from chronic dosing
  • Continuous GH receptor stimulation without rest periods downregulates receptor sensitivity (tachyphylaxis)
  • Diminishing response over 6–8 weeks despite consistent protocol and proper handling
  • Implement 4-week on / 2-week off cycling; reduce dose frequency to 2–3x weekly instead of daily
  • The body adapts. Cycling prevents tolerance buildup and maintains receptor sensitivity long-term
