Research from the European Journal of Applied Physiology showed that GHRH administration 90 minutes before resistance training increased post-workout serum IGF-1 by 28% compared to training alone, suggesting enhanced anabolic signalling in muscle tissue.

Morning administration targets the smaller post-awakening GH pulse, midday or pre-workout dosing aligns with training windows, and evening dosing amplifies nocturnal secretion. Total daily doses in this range (300–600mcg) approach the threshold where receptor desensitisation becomes a concern: continuously elevated GHRH receptor occupancy can downregulate receptor density over weeks, blunting GH response. This is why we recommend cycling protocols rather than continuous administration beyond 12–16 weeks.
